As with Previous Years, the main focus at Michelini Wines over the winter months has been pruning the vineyard in preparation for budburst in September. Much of the vineyard is spur pruned, with older cannes wrapped along the wires and last year's shoots being cut back to a short cane with 2 buds known as a 2 bud spur.
