2008 Emo Selection Teroldego

Emo Michelini grew up amongst the vines in the Trentino Alto Adige region of northern Italy, always remembering wine made from Teroldego, an indigenous variety of Trentino Alto Adige, also known as the Royal Wine of the region. In 2005 a small area of the Michelini vineyard in the Buckland Valley was planted to Teroldego, the only commercial planting of this variety in Australia.

 Michelini Wines is proud to release this Teroldego as part of our premium Emo Selection range. Showing dark purple red colour, the nose has notes of chocolate and spice, unusually rich palate with medium tannin and drying oak finish. Enjoy with spicy Italian dishes like Polpetta and cellar 5 – 10 years.
