Shipping and returns policy


All shipping is via Australia Post and parcel tracking information will be provided.

When will I receive my order?

You can expect to receive your order within 3-10 business days of placing your order. Delivery times may be subject to stock availability. Please contact us if you do not receive your order after 10 days.

Covid-19 delivery update: Australia Post are experiencing increased volumes, and as a result, you might experience a delay in delivery.  Please check the latest Australia Post announcements on COVID 19 delivery delays in your area here.

What payment types do you accept?

We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or any other payment method we advise from time to time.

Are my financial details secure on your site?

Credit card details are not stored by Michelini Wines. Credit card details are held by our payment gateway service provider.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver Australia wide, except to: designated Dry Areas, areas outside of the delivery network of our couriers and to places where we are not licensed to supply alcohol.

How much does delivery cost?

Free shipping applies to Wine Club member orders and also to orders greater than A$150.
For all orders under $150 we have a flat rate per state. VIC = $15 , NSW/ACT = $20 , QLD/TAS/SA = $30 , WA=$50, NT= $70

* Please note that we are unable to deliver goods to locations excluded from Australia Post network. If you wish to obtain an estimate of the delivery cost for your area, please contact us.

Can I cancel my order? 

You may cancel your order at any time before the payment for your order has been processed.

Can I authorise to leave my order if I’m not home? 


Yes, you can have your delivery left outside your home or with another person if you cannot be present to receive your order. At the online checkout you can provide special instructions on where you want your parcel left. A person under 18 years of age cannot receive the delivery on your behalf and we reserve the right to refuse delivery of your order to a person aged under 18 years (we may require satisfactory proof of age to be produced upon request). Michelini Wines is not responsible for any loss resulting from late delivery when satisfactory proof of age is not provided.

If delivery instructions haven’t been provided and you aren’t present to receive your order, then a calling card will be left with a phone number to call within 7 days to arrange a re-delivery.

Michelini Wines is not responsible for goods that are left unattended at your request, or goods that remain unclaimed as a result of failing to contact the carrier after receiving a calling card.


If you are a consumer, you are entitled to certain statutory guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law with respect to our Goods.

In particular:

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to receive a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does amount to a major failure.

We’re all about long-term relationships at Michelini Wines, so please never hesitate to contact us if you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase. We offer full returns on orders for up to 60 days after purchase and a hassle-free returns process.

Please note:

  • We can’t accept returns of products that have label or other cosmetic damage
  • We don’t accept returns on Gift cards.
  • If it’s been more than 60 days since your order we can’t accept a return.
  • We offer a very generous return policy because we love our customers and want to see you happy above all else. In saying that, we reserve the right to refuse if we think the policy is being taken advantage of unfairly.

How to cancel an order before it is shipped:

Contact us ASAP and we’ll cancel and refund right away.  If you cancel an order after we have shipped it we’ll process the refund once the stock has been recovered and is returned. This may take up to a three weeks because once a package has entered the postal system it can take some time for it to get turned around and sent back to us.
